FAQ's

1. Is Element Church affiliated with a denomination?

Yes. Element Church, as well as our mother church, High Plains Community Church, in Gillette, are a part of The Evangelical Church of North America (www.theevangelicalchurch.org). The Evangelical Church of North America was founded in 1968 when the Evangelical United Brethren (EUB) Church was moving to merge with the Methodist Episcopal Church to create the United Methodist Church. Our founders were EUB pastors who felt that the merger was not something they wanted to be a part of due to the theological leanings of the United Methodist Church denomination.

2. Is Element Church meeting already?

Yes. We officially launched on Oct. 7th 2007 in the Carmike Theater in the Frontier Mall. As of December 7th 2008 we moved into our newest facility at 600 E. Carlson St. We currently hold 2 services at 9:00am & 11:00am.

4. What is Element Church all about?

We are all about helping people experience life to its fullest. We want to connect people with the life in Christ and help every person follow Him completely. Our methods may not fall into the traditional molds of religion or church, but neither did those of Christ. We believe that we serve a creative and innovative God so we want to be creative and innovative in our minsitry as well. Whether it's a creative Sunday morning worship experience, a servant opportunity in our community, or a Life group devoted to living life together, we want to offer opportunties to share this life in Christ with others. We're willing to take risks and do things that may not have been done before. We will never compromise the message that is preached but we will always evaluate the method.
